Right....  the people doing this are oblivious... I mean, if you're gonna ban 
that, then you gotta ban this.  Why not ban it all, and just make it 
available on box sets they can sell it "to people with credit cards" (a corporate 
phrase I've heard here in Hollywood)... with a warning sticker on it?  It was 
around 1970 when the first huge wave of complaints were leveled against cool old 
cartoons by concerned parents organizations, it was a Woodstock-era thing, 
anti-violence in kids shows, and those nimrods created the dullest era of 
animation in history.... it all led to Barney... which I equate with "Jazz" becoming 
Kenny G.

That said, animation has only bounced back in recent years.  It's too early 
in the morning, I can't remember all the stuff I like these days (Powerpuff 
Girls and Moral Orel come to mind right away) but at least these exist in the 
face of contemporary drek.

Does the Astronauts' "Little Speedy Gonzalez" get banned too?  (that's the 
only version I can remember now)
