[bomp] where did Fuzz, Acid & Flowers go, anyway?
This is from the old Fuzz Acid Flowers site, and should be accurate:
The Age of Reason:
Q: Bomp folk.... what's the story behind the disapearance of this.
I mean, the concept was good, that is, I believe they accepted corrections
etc., meaning that it was at least feasible that people who had actually been in
these bands could have, you know, been looking up if there was anything out
there on their old bands on the internet and offered new information... or fans
like us who live in certain areas and actually knew more than the site could
fill things in. At least it was valuable for it to be up there... I do know
it was better than the books... I'd cross reference them... but still asked
people who knew more specific things about certain bands. For whatever
criticisim one could throw at Fuzz, Acid & Flowers, there isn't a more complete listing
like that anywhere else... and a lot of it that seems standard is nice to
have all in one place. It makes it easy to look stuff up, even just having the
book. But the website... the whole thing... is this huge, Herculean task.
