trying to remember everyone in "our band" - minor threat, fugazi, butthole
surfers, dinosaur jr, mudhoney, minutemen, Mission of Burma (maybe), Black
Flag (maybe) etc so it does move around USA - obviously there's some DC
straight edge in it as it's unavoidable in telling history of US indie in 80s
but even for bands I had no real interest in like Big Black the way the writer
tells the story behind the creation of each band is really fascinating. Bad
brains do not get included as they were too early which is a shame - would
have been good to be given the full treatment of their story. Yes be good to
know how Only Ones totally fell apart on their US tour. Amazon have copies of
Peter Perrett book
