It's taken from the rough mix that Cheetah hung onto. The thing is, the "rough mix" was done by Bob Clearmountain back when he was a studio engineer so it's pretty well done. Just rougher around the edges, and the guitars sound a bit more aggressive in some places.
"Ain't Nothin' to do" has some extra parts that were later edited out. Cheetah does an almost Queen-like double guitar on there somewhere. But for the most part it's a more raw version of the first Dead Boys album, they are not alternate takes. It's not different enough to change your life, certainly not essential. But I'm glad I bought it, now I have vinyl for the house and a CD for the car.
