[bomp] Keeping Tabs...or not.

While in the local deli today I couldn't help but notice cans of  TaB...which 
of course reminded me of the recent posts about it in here.
 
Now I couldn't remember the last time I tried TaB, but it must have been  
during the Carter administration. I do remember thinking it tasted lousy...But  
inspired by the posts in here, I decided, what the heck, for the first time in  
30 or so years I'm gonna try this stuff again. Maybe it's not *as* bad as my  
memory has it as being. Only a buck for the can, so why not?
 
So I bought a can...opened it...sipped it...and I'll be damned if it  didn't 
taste *exactly* the way I remembered....pretty bad.
 
But...what I had *completely* forgotten about, and which immediately came  
back to me (in more ways than one) was that aftertaste. I think that was worse  
than the drink itself.
