There's a whole '77 revival going on. Some cable channel is running a
miniseries that seems to pretty much be "Summer of Sam" turned into 28
hours.
I have no idea if any of these programs even pause for a moment on the Aug.
16th death of Elvis, which was probably as much of a rock and roll story as
anything else happening that summer, Son of Sam, CBGB's, the blackout, and
the Yankees notwithstanding.
