Re: [bomp] Re: review of Brett Milano's book

actually if you go to the review on Joe Vig's blog,
http://joevigtop40.blogspot.com he goes into great
detail about Tim Doherty...a.k.a. Lou Miami in the
Milano review

As for the records on Varulven -

Moe Tucker "I'm Sticking With You" with Willie Loco &
Jonathan Richman

The Rentals "Elephants" (they had the hit "Gertrude
Stein")

Willie Loco's "Gin" - not to mention the Solo Loco
album which Joe licensed to New Rose/RCA in Paris and
Bomp in America

Slow Children produced by mr. Curt

Phobia "Pretend You're Not Crazy" one of the great
early Punk singles

Pastiche's "Talk Show" (they won the Rock & Roll
Rumble, Talk Show was one of the great hits of
Boston Rock & Roll)

but perhaps if you came into the scene after the fact
you wouldn't know
