[bomp] Was 2008 rocks now Tribe
The Patriots were up to that point an orphaned child in a town with
Sox, Celts and Bruins - an expansion team forced to play on the
Harvard and BU fields and Fenway. Most of the football fans up this
way were Giants/Tarkenton fans at the time. No one and I mean no one
watched the Pats. Times have changed, and let me say, Red Sox fans
are very excited about the series with Cleveland. There is a lot of
respect for the Tribe and welcome change to year-in year-out Yankees
showdown.

No, the Twins (and the Angels) get grandfathered in because they
already
existed when I became a sports fan....The descent began when the
Boston
Patriots moved to the suburbs.
