There actually was a moment or two when I thought it may have been her
singing it.
Did Carole King record her own version at the time? (and I don't mean that
slow version she did years later...which I've never liked)? I mean, she
probably did a demo, but the version I heard didn't sound like a demo, but rather
like a properly produced record intended for release.
