I'm running out of comments on the subject, so I'll leave you with this:
One of my favorite DJs once played a song just for me. I thought it wasn't so hot, the Chimney Sweeps doing "You Can't Sit Down." I pretended to listen to it carefully (not dancing) and lied that I thought it was great. That DJ hasn't played it again. I can't think of another record this DJ has that is as uninteresting.
It was not Michael Lynch.

Your friend's wrong. By the time management asks you to turn it down, it's
three times louder than it should be.
I haven't heard half the shit people have barked RIGHT INTO MY EAR at some of
these "events", which is why you don't see me there so much.
That, and, of course that I'm too old and am sitting home reading PARADE
magazine and watching Matlock reruns...
