Folks outside of Austin may not know this but Ugly Beats guitar player Jake
Garcia has another terrific band up and running called Ripe (think Big Star,
20/20):

But the main reason for this email is to mention he also fronts a Love
tribute band along w/ Jason from the UBs, and they played the mother of all
sets last Friday at Beerland here in Austin.  Trumpet, strings and all.
