Can't improve on Joey's expertise, of  course, but tell me more.  Does
Paul Gayten predate Buddy Johnson's Orchestra with Ella Johnson's vocal?
I thought Buddy wrote it but no doubt I am wrong.  I gotta say, Annie 
Laurie is about as hip as Ella, and Ella is HIP.

Also there was a big ol' hit version by Lenny...Dee? in the late 50s?,
which is the source for a lot of more recent covers, seemingly.  Bonnie
Raitt and so on.
