So in france in the 60's we've been lucky enough to have crap singers (most
is crap) covering american and english pop hits. But translated, and not
very well done. I mean the meaning of the lyrics in french was even more
absurd & stupid than the original versions, so you can imagine the high
degree ! Most is crap but there are some exceptions i won't list it her but
i'm sure that Mimi (la twisteuse) will help you. The most well known is
Johnny Hallyday, just the name. We have Dick Rivers too and laods more.
Try to find a site about this glorious time of french music !
It will probably be in french !
