       I can tell that Aussies have the same problem with their 60s
bands as we do, here in Quebec.  There were lots of "wild" bands in
Quebec in the 60s (buy MANY copies of PEOPLE OF TYME - not available in
Switzerland? - to check this out) however most (99%) of people remember
or they are spoonfed the same ones Les Classels, Les Excentriques.....
Makes me wonder if , at the time, bands like Les Misérables were even
played on the radio, since no one remembers them.....Probably not, and
no one bought their records, thus making them rare and collectible...

Also it's really true that people in France have no respect for their
own artists...I think Gipé (Ils sont fous ces Gaulois) is the only
Français I've met who actually likes 60s french music....Weird!
Seems "POP JERK" was the first and last one at Le Jail-House.  Not too
many people like that place, so no big deal...Best dressed was a tie
between Mimi and Sophie (Popaganda).....      Denis
