Kasenatz-Katz Singing Circus album, anyone want it?
Hey y'all
Following all this recent discussion regarding the Super
K/kasenatz-Katz/bubblegum connection, I dug around at home and yes! I have
an album by the Kasenatz-Katz SInging Orchestral Circus dating from 1968 and
I wondered anyone on the list might want it? It's really not my bag. Seems
to be a fake "live" album featuring various of the Super K groups in
"concert". Sadly it doesn't feature "Quick Joey Small". Great cover though!!
It's the UK copy, on Pye. Email me off-list and make me an offer if it's
your bag.
Meanwhile can I start a thread about fake live albums? Right now, during
lunch, I can think of, oh, four:
- the KK album as above
- Various of the original Kingsmen albums (why was this done?)
- John's Children "Orgasm" album (audience famously nicked from A Hard Day's
Night)
- Deep Purple "Made in Europe" (apparently - I've never sat through it)
Any more for any more?
