my fave would have to be the barracudas' "i wish it could be 1965 again" --
classic RnR tune.

"1965... you're pushin' too hard.
1966... kicks gettin' harder to find
1967... good guys don't wear white
1968... riot on sunset strip..."

he goes on to name a whole slew of great tunes after that.

another great example of bands naming other bands would be the donnas' tune
"gimme my radio."

"they took away my tv set,
and my cheeba cigarettes
i wanna be like nikki corvette
so gimme my radio."
