They also covered the Clash London's Burning, called it Tokyo's Burning.

Are they gonna rehearse this time? Or perhaps just smoke a little more pot
and let the music take care of itself.

Al Bundy told me it has something to do with Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge
products.

Freddy, are these the Jayhawkers from fabulous SAGINAW, MICHIGAN? (tho
they may really have hailed from Breckenridge or someplace...) Lola

I'm not positive, where they are from but they are the Michigan group who put
out a handful of decent singles. Maybe you know more about them then I do, I
have 3 45's by them. Plus there is also Dwight Douglas and the Jayhawkers
who did Interstate 45 that Lenny Drake of the Thundertones was in. Is that
the same Jayhawkwers?

Are you sure it was isopropyl Laura? In my experience isopropyl evaporates
on contact and is harmless. I started using it after reading an article in
a music magazine and have now used it for years without any problem. And
that includes on all the Beau Brummels, Count Five 45s I've managed to find.
No problem at all. Isopropyl is not an instant panacea, and so for example
that bashed copy of 'Dirty Water' will still look like an ex-jukebox item
afterwards. Many years ago I took some cotton and acetone (at least I think
that's what it was called) to a Little Bob Story ep. The result - TOTAL
MELTDOWN on impact. Fortunately a spare copy of the said record was soon
located. On a related note certain unscrupulous record dealers here in the
UK use lighter fuel to *skim* records. Now while that brings up a nice
shinny/new looking disc, there definitely is vinyl damage. Anyone else want
to throw in their 2p/2c worth?

Howdy Troops!

I've been reading this ordeal for a while so I guess I will put in my 2
cents. I have always used alcohol to clean records. Some old Doo-Wop cat told
me it is fine to use as long as it is 70% or less. If you use the 90% you
could probably cause damage. When I am compiling a tape of scratcy 45's I
record the things wet, and it helps like you wouldn't believe. Then as soon
as it is done I use a cotton cloth to dry it off completely. I have never had
a problem. Chris from the Volcanos said he uses WD40 for those scratchy 45's
but I am too afraid of that. What do you know about that.
