Yes. The master was made right in this city -- The Renegades
were enormously popular in Finland. They toured the country
extensively, and made four LPs just for Finnish consumption! The
first two are out on a back-to-back CD, although it may be
impossible to get in other countries.

Favourite car song "Dodge Veg-o-Matic" by Jonathan Richman,
especially the rhyme of "parking lot" and "watch it rot",

Well, I have the US single (Imperial) of "Zabadak!" by Dave Dee, Dozy,
Beaky, Mick and Tich, and I much prefer the flipside "The Sun Goes Down,"
which has a lot of fuzzy guitar and psychedelic vocals...

I also have the US single of "I Like It" by Gerry and the Pacemakers, which
is backed by a fairly rockin' version of "Jambalaya," with a killer guitar
solo.

Speaking of "Ben Franklin's Almanac" by the Cryan Shames, can anyone tell
me what it is about? The few lyrics I can make out really seem to have
nothing to do with Ben Franklin...

My favorite car song is a tie between the Birthday Party's "Car Bomb"
and a Gary Usher novelty tune called "Dracula's Deuce", off of the album
by the same name. My favorite motorcycle tune is "Leatherboy" by
?Mulana? Dig that crazy organ!
