Actually the commercial on the Yardbirds "Little Games" reissue is for some
product called "Great Shakes," which could make any room a soda fountain.
It's kind of a take off on "Over Under Sideways Down," which I'd much
rather prefer to hear. Surely the most blueswailing Yardbirds could have
done a much cooler product endorsement than for chocolate milk mix...

Those of you with the latest Real Audio player can hear a selection of
contemporary garage bands on 'In Transit Planet'. The Lord High Fixers
version of 'Making Time' is something else. Load it while your're reading

Ditto both of you. I just picked up the live REAL KIDS on Norton ("Grown Up
Wrong"), so I'll pop over and check that piece out too!

Thanks for the tip, Steve. I was just listening to the first Real Kids
album on Thursday and wondering, "where the hell is John Felice?"

"where the hell is John Felice?"

John Holcomb

We were wondering the same thing ourselves. We interviewed John a
couple of months ago for Do The Pop #2, and for the notes of a Real
Kids tribute we're writing. He said he'd send us some pics and stuff,
so when we hadn't gotten them, I called him up, but his number's been
disconnected (again). So far reaching him by mail has proven
unsuccessful!
