>The Makers "#uck You"/"The Bird" (whatever it's called) is a frickin'
scorcher. Mike Maker (vocals) is one snotty sounding young man. He may not
look like George Thoroughgood, but he does a mean Prince imitation! I saw
these guys at Treble Fest and in Chicago last year, and they kicked my ass
(not literally). I plan on seeing them several times again when they open
up for Thee Headcoats in the Midwest. For my money, I'd go with the Makers
album... (but I hope you wanna hear some punk rock!)

p.s.- if you want to get your ass kicked, go to see the Makers live, stand
in the front row and yell, "Purple Rain!"

You should buy..... BOTH!
The Makers' album is their best to date and "Shake Break!" is as good as
"Live for buzz". Really, as long as you don't prefer one band to the other
you'll have to get both.

For me, there's no decision there. The Swingin' Neckbreakers win hands down.
It's a classic, almost as good as their first one. As for the Makers, I have
to confess not being the absolute biggest fan of their's. Although I dig some
of their records, I was kinda bored with their latest CD and ended up selling
it to a friend of mine.
