Good for a little bit, but I lost interest after a little while.The songs just didn't grab my attention for long. Maybe I need to see them again and be converted? It's hard to compare a band that is supremely talented as musicians against a band that is just learning how to play. The choice of what to look for in a band is yours alone...... However, I've heard from a few people that they're actually very tight live. For what it's worth, Guitar Wolf have been together for several years, so I'd think they'd've developed some sort of musical aptitude by now. Oh well, they're coming my way soon so I'll find out for sure... Back to the original question: should you see Guitar Wolf or Los Straitjackets? Well, I don't know what this is worth to you, or if this should even matter at all, but right now Guitar Wolf are getting a fair amount of hype and exposure and buzz in hipster indie circles, while Los Straitjackets are not, which is certainly not to say that means Guitar Wolf is the better band. ==================================================================== This message is from the Bomp Mailing List.
