In fact he seems to look down upon his previous career as a rocker. Just like it sez in "Dum Dum Boys": "What about Jim?' "Ahh, he's gone straight." Regarding the Michigan Mixture comps, I'd say that Vol 1 is really good, with Vol 2 being so-so. They fall into the garage-psych vein more than garage or garage punk, being fairly similar to the Glimpses or first 2 volumes of the Gathering Of The Tribes series. Standout cuts are by Up, Pitche Blende, Glass Sun, She Devils(pre 50 Ft Hose) and Renaissance Fair.
