Hi, I'm back - didja miss me?

I've got two questions that I can't find an answert to this morning, and
here they are -

1) Is there a 5678's site, and does anyone have the address?

2) Are there any April March records available asides from the one with the
Makers and "Paris in April" ?

Thanks, kids! Now eat all your oatmeal! It's cold out and breakfast is the
most important meal of the day!

I was watching 'Newsnight' (serious in depth political issues type talk
prog on at 10.30 at night) on BBC2 about a year ago, and there was an item
about mad cow disease, and the backing music to the intro film was'
Underwater Moonlight' by the Soft Boys and 'Days' by Television.

Furthermore, there was a Citroen ad with Personality Crisis by the NY
Dolls.

Subject: Got new organs!

I got two organs this weekend (thank you again, Jen, for helping me transport
them!) One is a Teischord (the bass pedal says, "Teisco", though) and I can
get sound out of it, although it's not too loud and out of tune. The other is
a Fender Contempo, beautiful chunk o'organ, candy-apple red, the light goes on
but no sound comes out! Bah! I don't know what's wrong! (Good news is, I
haven't paid for these yet -- the guy told me to see what I can do with 'em!)
So, I'll have to take them to Aztech Sound in Watertown (only a couple of
towns away) to be checked out. Meanwhile, anyone have any advice on these
problems?

Johnny,

I don't think you need to get tickets in advance, although last month's
Neckbreakers show was pretty crowded (but they had some big local bands
playing with them -- the Rackateers for one). Just come into town early, and
get your hand stamped when the doors open (probably around 8 or so). It
shouldn't be a problem, especially since most people don't start showing up
until around 10.

Subject: oldies radio international

I was checking out www.web-radio.com, specifically their listing of
International oldies stations. but I had trouble getting any of the
real audio links to pick up (should I complain that I can't listen to
Greek radio 3000 miles away? Anyway, I've been able to pick up a couple
of oldies stations in Holland and Sweden, etc. and while their shows
seems as weird as ours (weekly special of Cliff Richard, Elvis, the
Beatles) I think the option is there for something cooler.

anyway, do any bompers have suggestions for underground or
oldies/classic rock radio stations broadcasting on the web, of course
I'm hoping for 50s-70s material from the country the broadcast
originates from. This request especially goes out to our international
friends who know specifics.

thanks!

by the way, my radio show is now available over the internet. It's
Saturdays 4:30-6pm (Eastern) om WMUC-FM.
http://wmuc.umd.edu/
at this point, there are still problems with the RealAudio server, but
it really should work.

thanks,
Don

There's the first one... wish I could remember the name, but I've
got it as a CD-EP (5 songs, I think). I seem to remember it as also being
on 7". Was it on KokoPop? It's got songs like "Kooky" and "Stay Away

If you're really into April March, also check out her recordings with The
Shitbirds and The Pussywillows. Having said that, does anyone know if the
stuff she recorded as a member of The F-Holes ever came out?

this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (2/5-2/7). The line up includes
