For instance - I somehow failed to notice that the Donnas and Groovy Ghoulies played here two nights ago. And I had been in that club twice last week. Grrr. This Friday (March 6th) The Ubangis will be playing a last minute "surprise" show at the Velvet Lounge at 915 ‘U' st, NW, in Washingtron D.C. Opening up at 10:00 p.m. will be N.Y.C.'s The Erotics and girl group The Blackbaiters (also from N.Y.!). Word has it that these 2 bands are outta' control so this could be a wild show at the intimate Velvet Lounge! Yeah!
