My friend Joel is the drummer. They are a glam rock outfit-he once told me
that it's about fashion-the music comes second. The singer, Gavin, is a put
together androgenous wonder-in other words, he really looks the part. I've
seen 'em twice, once in an old brig on a navy base-horrible acoustics on a
room with nothing but hard surfaces (couldn't even hear them that nite).
The other time I heard them (last summer), they were okay. We mostly went
to see them to support our friend the drummer.

I intend to live forever - so far, so good.

Subject: Radio Rumpus Room playlist, 1/15/99

This week's show: "Radio Rumpus Room Goes Back To The Country." Totally
twang-centric!

Whether it was the Mats covering the Sons Of The Pioneers, Japanese fans
honoring Carl Perkins, Tammy Wynette and Brian Wilson duetting on an early
BB classic, Junior Brown trouncing "409" or Austin's late great Death
Valley sandwiched between Tex Ritter and Jello Biafra -- it was a wild and
wooly time as RRR saluted its twisted rural roots!

As always, many thanks to the artists and labels responsible for producing
tonight's music, and to the loyal listeners who inexplicably encourage us
to air it every week!

(If you're in the neighborhood, Radio Rumpus Room broadcasts Fridays at
9-10:30 p.m. on KFAI Fresh Air Radio, FM 90.3 Minneapolis and 106.7 St.
Paul.)

Hello!
Search for "Teenage Shutdown" on www.cdnow.com
They have a few soundclips from this one, and it seems to be great garage punk. I haven't heard
the whole record myself, but I was also thinking of ordering it.

After you post the translation.
May I show it to my webpages? It is worth not only bompers.
Because My webpages shows rare linernotes(like first pressing pebbles.
thank you Greg Show to give me the permission) and non-English linernotes
translation.
My Page also has Q65 page. (I alreday show the English translation
of Q65 Best album and Revolution)
So it is good for '60s garage fan who can't read Dutch.

If your translation need to fix English, some of Bompsers will fix
it for me . Isn't it??
