Hi, do you mean as in an interview with DeDe?. If so can you give me
details on how to purchase said zine?. I love her but I also love the "mod"
one, whose name escapes me it's in one of my Playboys and she is go-go
dancing in really cool gear! My ultimate fave is Barbi Benton.

Has anyone assembled a list of the radio shows mentioned here that can be
heard in Real Audio? If you have, it would make a nice post...

Before the 2-fer there were two different CD best-ofs, neither one really
doing them justice. I remember some music guide (Rolling Stone or Music
Hound) giving one of those discs the five star (or bone) treatment, which
I guess would then make the Anthology a 6 or 7 star set. Besides having
a few unreleased tracks, it collected some oddball singles & comp album
tracks, plus most all of the Projections lp (IMHO their best).
For those unfamiliar with this band, their sound encompassed a far
greater scope of music than their name implied. A good copy of the
Projections lp can fetch a little money, but their two live albums can be
picked up cheap.

>Too bad this isn't on vinyl instead of a double CD....nice booklet
though.

Well, if it weren't for CDs we might still be stuck with two skimpy
best-ofs...

I don't know about Wild Willy Barrett, but I saw Otway in the very early
'80's in New Haven, CT... He opened, I'm pretty certain, for Iggy, who was
coming through on the Soldier tour. As I remember the show, the crowd was
sort of impatient to see Iggy, and Otway, who really kind of struck me as
sort of a power-pop neo-punk Donovan (maybe it was his looks) tried like
Hell to move the audience... He must have broken, geez, 4 or 5 (maybe more)
Gibson SG's, and his roadie kept bringing him fresh ones and just shaking
his head... He (the roadie) seemed REALLY upset... That show MUST'VE cost
him a fortune... And the crowd just wanted to get to the Main Event.
