i never saw the MC5 at the tea party---but lou did tell me he loved playing
the place (as much as lou loved anything back then)---is lynn the only other
boston bomper who goes back that far---L-do you remember the MC5 playing a
show there?---if so, it would've been 70 or so--i do remember seeing a copy
of their Live at the Grande Ballroom EP in the WBCN studios (wish I had it),
but Stephen the Seagull would only play the "brothers and sisters" version
of kick out the jams on the air...

Subject: THE SAINTS REISSUE

EMI reissued a cd called "Know Your Product" in 1996, containing the best of
the SAINTS material including previously unreleased tracks. Asides from the
last few tracks, this album contains material that kick ass, from the SAINTS
early days. This is the material that made the SAINTS the best punk band
ever. Period.

Tell that to all the other British clone bands who dogged them for not
following their rigid dress code after the SAINTS decided to make it a go in
the UK.
