holy mackerel, that's harsh. you definitely should have had had mister
boot intorduce her ass to mister door over that one. jeez!! that's a great
CD, too...
i used to go out with this girl a couple of years ago, our first date was
kind of a blind date sorta deal. we went record shopping, she got one of
those boring indie records - i don't remember what, i got the bonzo's "urban
spaceman" CD on one way. i was all excited cuz i thought those were outta
print, so we took it back to her place and it put it on the stereo - she was
kinda of quiet through "urban spaceman," but in the middle of "we are
normal," she was like -
"let me get this straight - THIS is the record you have been looking for
for so long? this SUCKS."
we quit going out about 3 months later. i haven't seen her in 2 years.
    i still have the CD.

I've never had any exes scratch anything on me... but I did lose some great records lending them to beaus who never gave em back.... but the BIGGEST mistake I ever made was getting married and combining our record collections (I was young and thought it was the ultimate sign of love). When we split up I *thought* I had gotten all of my stuff.... but about a year later I realized I was missing a few things, including my Wire Dot-Dash 45.... periodically I'll go look for something and it'll be gone... it's so sad! Word to the wise... no matter how great they seem - protect your vinyl collection!

The Howard Sperm Show was a horrible flick. It made Dickman and Throbbin look

The Maddams Family was the best. Ron Jeremy as skin headed Uncle Pester and
some unnamed actress with a wig six feet long and huge tits playing the role

Don't forget Married With Hormones and Edward Penishands.

I am sorry for multiple posts, but I'm just learning how to work with this

Original Wild Oats who put out a single on Link Records called "Comic Guy
Heroes"? I can't find any reference to either the band or the song. By the
sound, I'm pretty sure it's mid-60s.

Thanks,

Greetings Frank,
All I know is that they were from Nevada City, CA. and their 45 -
Comic Guy Heroes / Comic Guy Heroes Part Two (Link CGL 1)
- - was released in June 1966.
Neither side has been comped but the unreleased My Chance Will
Come, from the same February sessions at Golden State Recorders
in San Francisco, has appeared on the 1994 Big Beat CD Good
Things Are Happening (CDWIKD 133) - an essential volume in
Alec Palao's excellent Nuggets From The Golden State series.
When I get around to doing an entry for Fuzz, Acid And Flowers
maybe more will come to light.

All y'all who have ordered this item directly from Collector's Choice Music,
assuming it was currently available......well, it ain't. CCM has often put
things in their catalog which are "imminent".....and usually the delays are
not significant. But in this case, as it turns out, they did not have a
usable master for the bonus track, the B-side "She's Ready To Be Free."

Anyway...at their request, I sent them one today. So it is in fact

Hi Bomp folk...

Not much time for postin' lately coz it's winter in Mohair land and ya gotta keep movin' or ya freeze to the ground!

Time for a chat with Michigan rock legend and Bomp fave Scott Morgan (Rationals, Sonics Rendezvous, Hydromatics, and Powertrane) tho.
Plus a wack of new releases reviewed in the Exotica, Punk, Mod, Soul and even Roots sections!

Please, grab a cup of tea and have a nice long visit. And drop us a line too! mohairsweets@yahoo.co.uk Love to hear from you all. http://www.mohairsweets.mb.ca

We'll be back again in the middle of the month with loads more new releases, an interview from new-psych-pop sensations the Telepathic Butterflies and at the end of the month with another up and coming act... More then!

ATB,
COLIN

I always thought Jack Lee was singing in the Nerves. I love the voice by
whoever on the Nerves. But Zero hour leaves me cold...
