Great news!

I get where Bllair is coming from and wouldn't mind a blast of Mummies or
Thee Fourgiven, but as usual I mostly dig my garage with a real 60's echo.
So I'd suggest the Sound Explosion, the Mystreated and Satelliters from the
90's/000's, newer bands like the Ugly Beats, Stoneage Hearts, Higher State
and Movements (from Sweden). It would also be fun to have some great
current Canuck acts like Toronto's own Midways, Whammies and/or Primordials
as well as Les Breastfeeders from Montreal and Edmonton's newest hitmakers,
Michael Rault and the Mixed Signals.

Eighties acts like the original Plan 9, Stems and Creeps/Backdoor Men might
be cool as well.

And big thumbs up to the Mary Weiss and Reigning Sound idea. We'll be
featuring a whole lot of Mary this week on Real Cool Time (6 pm eastern on
www.ciut.fm).

Another invite to ? & the Mysterians would be great too so the fans can
continue to show support for Q in the wake of the recent fire tragedy.

I'm sure I'll have more suggestions as things begin to unfold...but at least
our fall vacation plans are set!

I had seen them in 2005...and the clarity and strength
of Colin's voice amazed me...
The boy still has it...in ocean-loads...Rod sounds
great, too!

My only complaint was the stoopid Day Tripper guitar
quote in that guy's solo...gratiutous at that.

Other than that...I am uncharacteristically
speechless!

I hope they tour again. The Little Steven stop in
Tampa last year was canceled...bah.

I'm with you on both of those, my friend.

As much as I'd like those guys, I think one of Jon's considerations
is going to have to be, "Will they attract customers?" I doubt any of
those three will bring that many *added* customers. Sad, but true.
The Milkshakes - though I doubt it's possible - would be a big plus
for me.

    Oh yeah...Definitely!!! PLEASE!

That'd be great, but the cost associated with that one would be
high, I'd imagine. Hell, I'd like The Stems, myself.

Well, as I said to Mike F. yesterday... reunite THE GORIES!!!

For that matter, I'd also like to see The Spaceshits. And, although I
don't think you have a friggin' prayer, well, dreaming is free, so...The
Devil Dogs.

Yeah, I know...This is Garage-Punk! And I like it, like it...Yes, I do!

And although I know the Dirtbombs have played before, I'd be happy to
see them back.

For that matter, The Reigning Sound are always welcome...So psyched for
their shows tonight and tomorrow night. How about getting 'em w/Mary
Weiss for one of these nights?

Any chance of any conglomeration of The 13th Floor Elevators? And, of
course, I'd love to see The Sonics.

<grin> Don and The Goodtimes!

be a shame if they don't as that's some of their finest work to my ears.
